Film Synopsis

Earlier, in 1971 New York, Alcala murdered another victim named Charlie after helping her with her apartment move. Simultaneously, in 1978 Los Angeles, aspiring actress Cheryl Bradshaw is pressured by her agent to make an appearance on *The Dating Game*.
Cheryl hesitantly participates, unknowingly selecting Alcala, designated as “Bachelor #3,”for her date. After the show, she grows wary of him, narrowly escaping an attack in a parking lot.
Laura, an audience member, identifies Alcala but her warnings are dismissed. Eventually, Amy manages to escape Alcala’s grasp, leading to his arrest. Although initially released on bail, Alcala continues his killing spree until his final apprehension. The film culminates in his imprisonment, where he dies, as Cheryl chooses to embrace a life of tranquility.
