This thriller features a storyline where a woman battles to survive against an antagonist who seems normal yet harbors sinister intentions. The narrative centers on Iris, played by Kelsey Asbille, a mother in deep sorrow. Her interaction with Richard, portrayed by Finn Wittrock, morphs from a chance for connection into a harrowing fight for her life.

Initially appearing kind, Richard quickly discloses his menacing side by incapacitating Iris with a paralytic drug, initiating a frantic race against time.

The film is set against the backdrop of the remote wilderness, which amplifies Iris’s feelings of isolation and fragility. The selected location is crucial in maintaining the film’s suspense, as the expansive, open areas contrast greatly with Iris’s increasing entrapment.

Directors Adam Schindler and Brian Netto skillfully heighten the film’s suspense, keeping audiences captivated as time slips away for Iris. The narrative relies less on dialogue and more on the powerful expressions of the actors.
