Exciting Nominations Announced for the 2024 Asia Artist Awards

The eagerly anticipated 9th Asia Artist Awards has unveiled its final nomination list for the Popularity Award, featuring an array of celebrated South Korean talents, including BTS, Byeon Woo-seok, and IU. The awards ceremony is set to take place on November 4, 2024, marking a significant event in the entertainment industry.

This year’s Asia Artist Awards aims to commend musicians and actors who have made a remarkable impact through their performances over the past year. The preliminary nominations for the Popularity Award were finalized following a voting process that concluded on October 31, 2024, using the popular Idol Champ app.

In total, there are thirty nominees in each category, and the winners will be determined entirely by fan votes. From November 4 to November 20, 2024, fans can cast their votes for their favorite artists to potentially see them receive the coveted award.

Nomination Categories and Artists at the 2024 Asia Artist Awards

The nominations feature an impressive lineup. BTS members Jin, Suga, V, and Jungkook are vying individually in the Male Singer category, while BTS as a group is also nominated. In contrast, for the Female Singer category, popular groups such as BABYMONSTER, TWICE, LE SSERAFIM, and NewJeans, along with solo artist IU, are showcased.

In the actor categories, nominees include Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon from “Lovely Runner”, alongside Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won from “Queen of Tears”. IU also appears, recognized for her impressive role in “Dream” .
