In a recent livestream, HoYoverse unveiled thrilling details about the upcoming Genshin Impact 6.0 banners. This latest update brings exciting characters, including a unique Dendro character who enhances bloom reactions into a new form known as Lunar-Bloom, alongside another Electro character that provides buffs to often overlooked combinations. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to acquire a new 4-star character for free, designed to synergize perfectly with the Lunar-Bloom character.
Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of the Genshin Impact 6.0 banners, detailing what players can expect from each featured character.
Genshin Impact 6.0 Banners Phase One: Lauma and Nahida

The first phase of the banners is set to launch on September 10, 2025, potentially available as early as September 9, depending on your time zone. This phase introduces two new 5-star Dendro characters:
- Nahida (5-star, Dendro, catalyst)
- Lauma (5-star, Dendro, catalyst)
Nahida serves as Sumeru’s Dendro Archon, excelling in applying Dendro elements and enhancing elemental reactions. While her abilities don’t transform blooms into Lunar-Bloom, she remains formidable. In contrast, Lauma innovatively modifies bloom reactions—interactions between Dendro and Hydro—into Lunar-Bloom, increasing the damage of these reactions based on her elemental mastery. To maximize her potential, Lauma should be paired with at least one Hydro character, complemented by another Dendro ally if possible. Her ultimate can also capitalize on other bloom-related reactions, such as burgeon and hyperbloom.
As of now, the available 4-star characters that will accompany these two are still to be confirmed.
Genshin Impact 6.0 Banners Phase Two: Flins and Yelan

The second phase of the banners will commence three weeks later, on October 1, 2025, introducing two new characters from Nod-Krai along with a familiar face from Liyue:
- Flins (5-star, Electro, polearm)
- Yelan (5-star, Hydro, bow)
- Aino (4-star, Hydro, claymore)
Flins embodies the essence of an Electro character similar to Cyno, enhancing normal attacks to deal Electro damage. His ultimate unleashes multiple heavy instances of Electro damage, amplified when Lunar-Charged thunderclouds are present. Much like Ineffa, Flins converts any Electro-Charged reaction into a Lunar-Charged one, necessitating the inclusion of a Hydro support character like Yelan, Xingqiu, or Aino.
Aino excels in Hydro application across a broad area, featuring an elemental skill that creates a cannon. This cannon periodically releases water bubbles, even while Aino is off-field. Given her low energy cost and short cooldown—only a second longer than her ability’s duration—she can be effectively utilized in rotations, making her an ideal companion for a variety of teams, particularly alongside Lauma and Flins.
Excitingly, HoYoverse is offering Aino as a free character for players who complete the Archon quests in Genshin 6.0, available to all Adventure Rank 28 players who finish the Mondstadt prologue chapter.
Yelan, a premium Hydro support character, delivers substantial damage through her basic attacks, gathers enemies with her skill, and conjures a water die with her burst ability. This die remains on the battlefield even after she exits, firing Hydro arrows in coordination with active character attacks.
Genshin Impact 6.0 Chronicled Wish Banner

Additionally, the launch of Nod-Krai will coincide with a new Chronicled Wish banner themed around Sumeru, allowing players to use their Primogems to obtain characters such as:
- Tighnari
- Alhaitham
- Wanderer
- Dehya
- Cyno
- Nilou
This Chronicled Wish banner is expected to be available throughout the entire duration of version 6.0.
