New DLC Character Venom Joins Guilty Gear Strive
Arc System Works has officially launched Venom as a downloadable content (DLC) character in Guilty Gear Strive. Although the initial release was set for early 2025, the company has delivered on its promise, making Venom available within March 2025.
Availability Across Platforms
According to the company’s official site, Venom is currently accessible on several platforms: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. However, fans who play on the Nintendo Switch will need to budget for Venom as he will be a paid DLC character. This is in contrast to Queen Dizzy, who was made available later on the Switch and arcade versions free of charge. Details from the Japanese webpage confirm that Venom isn’t available for free and that he will be joined by two additional characters for the upcoming Season 4; these include Unika from Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers and Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
