Exciting K-Pop Song Releases to Anticipate in October 2024

In September, the K-pop scene was electrified by new releases from BOYNEXTDOOR, Riizie, and EXO’s Chanyeol, who dropped his track “Blackout”from the mini album Back Again. The excitement continues in October, with comebacks from top artists including BLACKPINK’s Lisa, who is set to release her third single of the year, along with Jennie making her debut under her own label.

This month also features a variety of fresh K-pop songs from several idols and groups.

1) Hello, My Love by The Wind

On September 13, The Wind teased fans with a trailer for their forthcoming album Hello, My Love. The album is set to release on October 7, featuring the title track of the same name.

This mini album contains five tracks: in addition to the title song, fans can look forward to “Dandelion,””We’re Not Friends,””Good Morning,”and “On the Way Home.”It will be available in eight captivating versions.

2) THE ONE YOU WANTED by Jay Park

Former 2PM member Jay Park is set to release his sixth full album titled THE ONE YOU WANTED on October 8 K.S.T. After a five-year break, Jay Park is making a much-anticipated comeback with this K-pop track.

The tracklist was unveiled on September 27, followed by the first teaser on October 2. Jay Park’s album cover features a striking silhouette, enhancing its mysterious allure.

3) Call Me Back by NOMAD

Following an eight-month absence, NOMAD is back with their first single album titled Call Me Back, which will be released on October 9. This self-produced group has contributed a total of five songs to the album.

NOMAD previously debuted with an album blending hip-hop and R&B, and fans can expect innovative K-pop melodies from this upcoming release, enhanced by international collaborations.

4) SPILL THE FEELS by SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN is launching their 12th mini album, SPILL THE FEELS, featuring six tracks, with a release date set for October 14. In early October, the group unveiled an animated teaser that has already captured the attention of fans.

The lead single “LOVE, MONEY, FAME”features DJ Khaled, while the remaining tracks include “Rain,””Candy,””Eyes On You,””1 to 13,”and “Water.”The talented WOOZI provided lyrics for the title track, showcasing the group’s collaborative efforts in music composition.

5) Mantra by BLACKPINK’s Jennie

BLACKPINK member Jennie has shared teasers for her upcoming K-pop single, Mantra, which is scheduled for release on October 11.

This track marks Jennie’s debut under her own label, OA Entertainment, following past collaborations with Sony Music Entertainment, Weekend, and Lily-Rose Depp.

6) GOLD by ITZY

ITZY is making a comeback this October with all five members, including Lia, who previously took a break due to anxiety. Their album GOLD will drop on October 15, featuring two main tracks.

The title track GOLD will be released on that date, while the second track, Imaginary Friend, is slated for release on October 28. Additionally, the album will include a B-side track called VAY, featuring Stray Kid’s Changbin.

7) Whiplash by Aespa

Aespa is set to release their fifth mini album, Whiplash, on October 21, including six tracks. On September 23, SM Entertainment officially announced the album’s release date.

This album follows their hit album Armageddon, which was released five months prior, coinciding with the group’s second international tour.

In addition to these releases, G-Dragon is also returning this month, while Min Jiwoon is debuting her solo single Sentimental Love in October.
