He stated, “Ten years ago, we set a new, literal benchmark for RTS games with massive battles and groundbreaking technology. Wardell also addressed a significant request from the community: the inclusion of a human faction.“In the first game, the number one request was for a human faction, ”he explained.“Back then, we just couldn’t support having thousands of organic, walking, squishy people in the world, so we had to design in favor of machines. Now, we are thrilled to bring humans into the fray and see how they contend against the vast mechanical forces of the Substrate and the PHC.”
