Insights into Jungkook’s Friendship with 97-liners
The ’97-liners, a close-knit group of K-pop idols born in 1997, are celebrated for their strong friendships and frequent social gatherings. This circle includes SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu and DK, Stray Kids’ Bang Chan, GOT7’s Yugyeom and Bambam, along with NCT’s Jaehyun, among others.
Before his military enlistment, Jungkook was seen dining out with Mingyu and Eunwoo in the previous year, showcasing their bond through various activities and interactions online.
In February 2024, several members of the ’97-line joined together for a listening event in honor of GOT7’s Yugyeom’s album launch, including SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, DK, THE8, NCT’s Jaehyun, Woozi, Vernon, and ATEEZ’s Mingi.
However, Jungkook and Eunwoo were notably absent due to Jungkook’s military service and Eunwoo’s work obligations.
K-pop fans often treasure these rare opportunities for idols from different groups to come together, appreciating cross-group interactions.
In the meantime, the talented singer known for “Still With You” is currently on military duty, with his discharge anticipated in June 2025.
