Ex-WWE employee credits Triple H for major development on women’s roster storylines (Exclusive)

In a recent interview, former WWE manager Dutch Mantell discussed how Triple H and the current creative team have been producing more compelling storylines for the female wrestlers in the company.

This week on SmackDown, the focus shifted to the women’s division. General Manager Nick Aldis revealed that Jade Cargill would be making her debut, adding excitement to the show. Later on, Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai and Bianca Belair put on an impressive display, highlighting the division’s talent. The match ended in a chaotic brawl, with Naomi and Cargill joining in on the action.

This week on Smack Talk, Mantell praised the current WWE creative team for their work in the women’s division. Specifically, he noted the improvement in compelling storylines for female talent, comparing them to those of their male counterparts, in contrast to the previous regime’s lackluster angles.

“Remember a year or so ago, when the women’s division was in chaos? They had really nobody, They didn’t know what to do with it. Of course, it was under a different regime, I understand that. But now, they’re packed. They’re jammed. Like the men’s division, they’re jammed and they got angles on top of angles. And with the girls, now they got a really, really good all-female cast. I just hope they can do some really good stories with it. They got the talent now, so let’s see what they do with it.”[From 12:35 onwards]

The WWE women’s roster was rocked by the addition of Jade Cargill this week. The former AEW standout displayed her power by single-handedly decimating the members of Damage CTRL to end the show.

It will be intriguing to witness the effects of her inclusion on the blue brand in the upcoming weeks.
