In the recent episode of Big Brother season 26, episode 33, it was revealed that Leah and Angela were set to leave the house. Angela, a contestant known for being nominated multiple times, was saved from eviction through the powerful Power of Veto on several occasions. In the episode aired on September 26, 2024, Angela faced nomination from Makensy first, followed by the new Head of Household, Chelsie.
Leah was the first contestant to be eliminated after being placed on the block by Makensy. Chelsie’s nomination of Angela came with the hope of winning the Power of Veto competition; however, the competition was ultimately won by Kimo, who chose to save himself instead.
Following her exit from the show, Angela spoke with Parade Magazine on September 27, 2024, discussing why her fellow housemates saved her multiple times. She attributed her repeated saves to her “true intentions,”stating:
“And so I think that the houseguests that used it on me saw my heart and saw my true intentions and my true self, that I am a very passionate people person, and that what I love, I love hard. And I think they felt that, and I think that’s why I was saved so many times.”
Angela Reflects on Her Big Brother Journey and Being Saved Thrice
Angela made history when she had the veto used on her three times. Discussing her connections with fellow cast members, she emphasized the importance of nurturing relationships throughout the competition.
Angela described herself as a “very passionate people person,”believing this trait contributed to her being saved. She commented:
“I did have the veto used on me three times! Being a fan of the show, I should know that that is making history. I think that the veto was used on me three times because I really did work on relationships.”
Angela acknowledged that initially finding her group of people among 15 competitors was challenging. She aimed to establish friendships and engage in conversations beyond just game strategy. She expressed:
“You cannot possibly live with 15 people and not try to find your people, people that you can get along with and have day to day conversations that aren’t related to the game.”
Angela admitted that her opinionated nature sometimes created conflicts with contestants like Lisa, Quinn, and Tucker, which negatively impacted her game. She reflected on this, noting:
“And how it affected me is in a negative way, and trying to recover from that and move forward with my game. I shot myself in the foot with it, and I should have held my tongue, but I didn’t. And I had to do a lot of cleanup. That was very messy. It was a lot of recovery for me, and I made my game hard by having a big mouth.”
