While there are no financial incentives for undertaking this quest, it serves as an entertaining diversion from the main storyline. Players will need to explore various locations in Los Santos to uncover clues, but since these locations aren’t shown on the map, it can be quite daunting to find them all without assistance.

GTA 5 Murder Mystery clue locations: Sunken body

After locating all four messages, make your way to the ocean off the Los Santos coastline to discover a sunken body. Just like with the messages, proximity to this clue is sufficient for it to be registered. Below are the details and visuals for its location:

It is advisable to use scuba diving equipment to locate this clue, or alternatively, utilize a Submersible. The Submersible can be acquired by investing in the Sonar Collections Dock, which is linked to the Nuclear Waste side quest in GTA 5.

For optimal visibility, try to search for the body during daylight hours, as underwater visibility declines at night.

GTA 5 Murder Mystery clue locations: Letter

After finding the sunken body, proceed to Solomon Richard’s office in Los Santos to review a letter located on his desk.

GTA 5 Murder Mystery: Final step and rewards

After reading the letter in Solomon Richard’s office, your next step involves traveling to the abandoned mine located in Great Chapparal. Utilize an explosive to break through the mine’s doors and venture inside to discover another body.
