Everything We Know About Love Is Blind Season 8

The reunion for Season 7 of Love is Blind debuted on Netflix on October 30, uniting all contestants who participated in the show’s experiment to provide updates about their lives since filming.

During the reunion, co-hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey announced that the popular dating series Love Is Blind will return for its eighth season. This new installment will mark the five-year anniversary of the franchise and is set to premiere on Valentine’s Day, with episodes launching on February 14, 2025.

Season 8 of Love Is Blind to be Set in Minneapolis

“February 14, 2025, marks our five-year milestone, and we’ll celebrate it with the launch of season eight in Minneapolis!”Vanessa declared.

During the reunion, the audience met three new contestants—Alex, Brittany, and Joey—who are set to join the other aspiring romantics in the upcoming season 8 of Love Is Blind. The trio’s presence in the crowd gave fans a preview of what’s to come from the upcoming pod participants.

In a bid to drum up excitement for the season, Vanessa inquired about Alex’s challenges in dating within Minneapolis, prompting his decision to join Love Is Blind. Reflecting on his dating experiences and interactions in the city, Alex shared:

“I really just focused on other aspects of my life like work, friends, and travel. The community is fairly small; it isn’t particularly a big city, but it’s also not a small town. So, you tend to run into the same faces repeatedly, especially at the few bars we have. I hadn’t met anyone I clicked with yet, so I’m looking forward to being here.”

Advice from Love Is Blind Season 7 Contestants for the Upcoming Pod Squad

As highlighted in a video from Netflix Tudum released on October 31, Hannah, a contestant from season 7, advised season 8 participants to “embrace the moment”and enjoy their experience. She remarked that the experiment would teach them valuable lessons about themselves.

She added that the ideal participant for this type of social experiment is someone who is unafraid to take risks and is willing to engage fully without worrying about the outcomes.

Taylor echoed this sentiment, encouraging the upcoming pod squad to brace themselves for the unexpected journeys they would encounter on the reality show. She admitted that she had no prior expectations and described her experience as a “wild ride,”ultimately leading her to her now-husband Garrett.

Tim humorously suggested that contestants not compare themselves to celebrities, instead cultivating a little resilience since they might face criticism for their actions. Meanwhile, Marissa advised:

“Go on the dates, engage in deep, meaningful conversations, and make sure to have a lot of fun. I think there’s a tendency for some dates to devolve into tears and heavy conversations, but I enjoyed many of mine, even if they didn’t end in engagement; I learned a lot about myself.”

Stephen also offered his insight, urging contestants to “be as genuine and honest as possible.”He emphasized the importance of staying true to themselves throughout the process, even if it means others may not always appreciate their candor.

Fans can catch all episodes 1-13 of Love Is Blind Season 7, now available for streaming on Netflix.
