Escape from Tarkov Energy Crisis: Completion Guide and Rewards Overview

Among the various tasks provided by the Mechanic in Escape from Tarkov, the Energy Crisis quest stands out as a crucial milestone for players aiming to progress through the game. Successfully completing this quest not only helps advance your journey but also unlocks valuable items from Traders, accessible depending on your Loyalty Level. This quest primarily involves marking four fuel tankers located on the Lighthouse map, which can be accomplished without much difficulty.

Guide to Completing the Energy Crisis Quest

To successfully complete the Energy Crisis quest, you will need to achieve the following objectives:

Find and mark the first tanker truck using an MS2000 Marker.
Locate and mark the second tanker truck using an MS2000 Marker.
Identify and mark the third tanker truck with an MS2000 Marker.
Locate and mark the group of tankers with an MS2000 Marker.

First Tanker Truck Location

The initial fuel tanker is situated near the southern entrance of the Water Treatment Plant, right along the road. It is advisable to eliminate the two Rogues positioned nearby before approaching the tanker. Once you’ve ensured a safe environment, get close to the tanker and interact with it to place your MS2000 Marker.

Second Tanker Truck Location

The second tanker can be found right outside Building 3, positioned along a road that runs against the eastern wall of the Water Treatment Plant. Prioritize eliminating any Rogues that may occupy Buildings 2 and 3 to secure your safety before marking this tanker.

Third Tanker Truck Location

To locate the third tanker, make your way to the northern side of the train yard. Once again, use the MS2000 Marker to mark this tanker, just as you did with the previous ones.

After marking the third tanker, you will want to proceed further north to a cluster of six tankers. Approach any one of these tankers to place your final marker. Completing this step will wrap up the quest.
