On October 2, 2024, Piers Morgan invited rapper Lowkey onto his show and posed a question regarding whether he would condemn P. Diddy, given that Lowkey is also a rapper. Although Morgan’s questions seemed designed to trap Lowkey into a falsehood, Lowkey swiftly agreed to condemn Diddy, who has been indicted on serious charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.
Social media users quickly reacted to Piers Morgan’s approach, highlighting his unsuccessful attempt to corner Lowkey.
Many took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts, with one user criticizing Morgan’s questioning style:
“That has to be the worst attempt at a gotcha question in the history of interviews 😄”
“Funniest question of the debate. What was he trying to implicate?”a user on X questioned
“You wore a tracksuit in the 90s, do you condemn Saville?”another user humorously remarked.
“And it was a completely irrelevant comparison – Lowkey isn’t employed by P Diddy.”an internet user commented.
“@Lowkey0nline absolutely owned him 😂”another responder noted.
Furthermore, users on the platform also criticized Piers Morgan for the nature of his inquiries toward Lowkey:
“Piers Morgan is a bottom-feeding piece of scum. He may as well move to Israel and become Bibi’s press secretary.”one user remarked.
“Piers Morgan has yet to condemn his friend Ghislaine Maxwell or Jeffrey Epstein. The irony!”another user noted.
Additionally, rapper Lowkey countered Morgan’s questioning by referencing connections between Morgan and Rupert Murdoch, a significant supporter of Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s Prime Minister.
120 New Accusers Report Abuse by Diddy
On October 1, 2024, Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee held a press conference where he announced his representation of 120 accusers alleging that Diddy engaged in misconduct over the past two decades.
Buzbee expressed his intention to expose the enablers who allegedly facilitated Diddy’s alleged actions and stated that they would pursue justice irrespective of who might be implicated.
Regarding the nature of the accusations, Buzbee disclosed that the claims entail dissemination of video recordings, facilitation of sex under the influence of controlled substances, sexual abuse of minors, and violent sexual assault or rape. He emphasized:
“It’s a long list already, but due to the complexity of this case, we will ensure that we are absolutely correct before proceeding. These names will shock you.”
In response, Diddy’s attorney, Erica Wolf, stated on behalf of her client:
“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has pointed out, he cannot address every meritless allegation that has turned into a reckless media circus. However, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”
The rapper, Diddy, was arrested on September 16, 2024, in a hotel in New York and was subsequently indicted by a grand jury on charges related to sex trafficking. He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center, awaiting trial and has entered a plea of not guilty to all charges against him.
