Enhanced Microsoft Forms Features Released for Commercial Users

Microsoft Forms is a web-based platform designed for creating and sharing customized forms focused on feedback collection, data gathering, and educational purposes. Recently, Microsoft has begun introducing a significant upgrade to Microsoft Forms specifically for its commercial users. This new version boasts an entirely modern user interface (UI) across its main portal page, form-building experience, and response analysis features.

On the portal page of Microsoft Forms, you will now find templates organized into specific categories such as feedback, registration, research, and quizzes, allowing users to quickly choose a template to initiate their project. Upon selecting a template, users are taken to a newly designed creation page.

This revamped creation page showcases a variety of templates in the left sidebar, making it simple for users to navigate and switch among different templates effortlessly. For those using a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, there is added support available throughout the form creation journey.

The right sidebar includes a style button that allows users to either choose from design suggestions or create their own custom styles. Additionally, users have the option to select their preferred layout for the cover page of the invitation.

After a form is developed, it can be shared efficiently. Microsoft has also improved the sharing interface. The new distribution system enables users to modify permission settings and distribute the form through a URL, QR code, or via Outlook and Teams. Users with Copilot assistance can benefit from help in crafting their distribution messages.

Lastly, the results page for forms has been elegantly redesigned, providing a modern appearance. This enhanced design allows for expedited response analysis through clear and visually appealing charts and graphs. Moreover, features such as “Open in Excel”and individual result insights have been repositioned for easier access in the right sidebar.

Commercial users of Microsoft 365 can experience the newly upgraded Microsoft Forms at forms.office.com. This transformation positions Microsoft Forms as a more robust and user-centric tool for data collection and analysis. With its upgraded interface and enriched capabilities, Forms is set to effectively cater to the changing demands of businesses and organizations.
