Embark Studios, known for its successful free-to-play first-person shooter, The Finals, has been actively promoting its highly anticipated third-person extraction shooter, ARC Raiders. Earlier this year, the team conducted an extensive public playtest in April and unveiled a major release date trailer during the Summer Game Fest 2025.

However, fans eager for updates on the game have been met with silence since then. Recently, the studio confirmed that no further information will be released until closer to the launch date set for October 30, 2025. In an announcement shared on the official X account for ARC Raiders, Embark Studios explained their commitment to focused development as they finalize the game.

Public Testing and Gamescom Absence

In the statement, the studio clarified that there will be no additional public playtests prior to the release of ARC Raiders. Furthermore, Embark Studios will not be presenting the game at the upcoming Gamescom 2025, scheduled for just over a week from now.

The studio emphasized, “Our focus is now on polishing and expanding the experience, and putting all the learnings from TT2 into action ahead of release.”They acknowledged the importance of managing expectations, underscoring that, while they will not conduct further public testing, an exciting launch campaign will be announced soon.
