During the Battle Rounds, two artists from each team teamed up to perform a single song, with only one moving forward to the Knockouts—unless a competing coach opted for a “Steal.”
This week, several contestants faced elimination while others received lifelines through steals. In the latest round of battles, the following artists were sent home: Tsola from Team Reba, Dreion from Team Snoop, and BEYA from Team Gwen.
Eliminated Artists in The Voice Season 26
Team Bublé: Aliyah Khaylyn vs. Sofronio Vasquez
The standout duel on Michael Bublé’s team featured Aliyah Khaylyn and Sofronio Vasquez performing the powerful ballad The Power of Love, showcasing their impressive vocal ranges. It was a tough call for Bublé to make.
Ultimately, Sofronio Vasquez emerged victorious, securing his place in the Knockouts. However, Aliyah Khaylyn’s performance caught Snoop Dogg’s attention, and he decided to utilize his “steal”to bring her onto his team. This gave Aliyah a fresh opportunity to develop her skills further under Snoop’s guidance as the competition progresses.
Team Reba: Jaukeem Fortson vs. Jaukeem Fortson Pick up
Within Team Reba, Jaukeem Fortson and Tsola went head-to-head with their rendition of Higher Love. Reba McEntire commended both artists for their ability to infuse passion and energy into their performances. In the end, Jaukeem Fortson was declared the winner, moving on to the Knockouts.
Sadly, Tsola did not attract interest from any other coach and was thus eliminated. Reba encouraged him to think about returning in future seasons, advising him on how to select a song that would best highlight his vocal strengths. She has consistently expressed pride in supporting artists, even those who do not advance, by offering valuable feedback to enhance their musical journeys.
Team Snoop: Dreion vs. Georgia Starnes
The faceoff on Team Snoop saw Dreion and Georgia Starnes performing Perfect Combination. Both artists showcased their unique styles in the duet, impressing Snoop Dogg with their ability to harmonize their individual talents in a lively performance.
After deliberation, Snoop chose Georgia Starnes as the winner. Unfortunately, Dreion did not attract a “Steal”from any of the coaches and was eliminated from the competition. Nevertheless, Snoop acknowledged Dreion’s potential and emphasized that the experience gained from The Voice could open doors for him in the music industry.
Team Gwen: BEAUTY vs. NEW YORK. His Whisper
On Team Gwen, BEYA and Kay Sibal faced off with the song Please Please Please. Gwen Stefani praised both singers for their emotional delivery, with each adding a distinct flair that resonated with the song’s essence. Gwen was particularly impressed by their connection to the music and their ability to convey its emotional depth.
In the end, Stefani selected Kay Sibal as the winner, propelling her to the Knockouts, while BEYA did not receive a “Steal”from any fellow coaches and was eliminated. Gwen encouraged BEYA to persist in her musical endeavors, recognizing the noteworthy progress she demonstrated during the Battle Rounds of The Voice.
Following four nights of gripping battles, the coaches have made substantial strides in preparing their teams for the Knockouts. Each team is now one step closer to the live performances, where the remaining singers will display their talents individually, vying for the title.
