Elena Rybakina stays back in Miami to enjoy the beach with her sister Anna after Miami Open runner-up finish
Following her impressive performance at the Miami Open, Elena Rybakina decided to take some time off from tennis and enjoy the sunny beaches of Florida with her sister Anna.
Despite facing defeat in the final against Danielle Collins, Rybakina continued to showcase her talent and skill at the Miami Open, making it her fourth appearance and ultimately securing a runner-up finish. Her determination and strong performance were evident, but she ultimately fell short in straight sets against the American.
Despite her love for tennis, the Kazakh player Rybakina decided to take a break and stayed in Miami to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Florida with her sister Anna. She even posted a photo of their outing on her Instagram account.
Although she is not a tennis player, Anna is still an important figure in Rybakina’s life as her older sister. She can often be seen supporting her sister from the sidelines at tennis events, including the French Open last year and most recently, the Miami Open.
Despite being unable to compete in the BNP Paribas Open due to injury, Rybakina showed strong performance in Miami and achieved a notable result on tour. Collins, who faced Rybakina in the finals, discussed the challenges of dealing with Rybakina’s powerful serve and how she had to strategically choose the right moment to make her move.
“I mean, it’s really tough. Elena [Rybakina] is not an easy person to break. Those are some big serves coming in. She is a monster out there and it’s like that for everybody. And I had to be really patient with myself. I had to give myself targets. I had to have a plan,”Collins said in the video below at(at 2:57)
Despite Rybakina’s previous dominance in their last three main tour meetings, Collins managed to find a way to secure the win this time, narrowing their head-to-head record to 3-2 with Rybakina still in the lead.
