Overview of the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test
- Signups for the initial Elden Ring Nightreign network test will commence on January 10.
- Access to the beta will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
- The first network test for Elden Ring Nightreign is slated for February 2025.
Tomorrow, January 10, marks the opening of registrations for the highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign network test. However, interested players should note that this test will be restricted to select platforms, limiting participation to under half of those planned for the game’s release.
Leveraging the excitement from The Game Awards 2024, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco officially unveiled Elden Ring Nightreign in December. This upcoming installment is designed as a cooperative Soulsborne gameplay experience set in the expansive Lands Between, focusing on three-player teams. Aiming for a full launch in 2025, players are eager to delve into this new chapter of the Elden Ring saga.
How to Register for the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test
- Head to the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website starting January 10.
- Complete the registration form, selecting your preferred gaming platform.
- Await confirmation via email regarding your enrollment in the network test.
- Join the network test scheduled for February 2025.
Limited Platform Availability for the Network Test
Accepted players can expect to receive a confirmation email by February 2025, coinciding with the test dates. Further details about the specific times for participation are anticipated to be announced soon. However, it is essential to note that this network test will only be available for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. While Elden Ring Nightreign is also expected to launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the current test will invite significantly fewer participants.
Moreover, FromSoftware has indicated that Elden Ring Nightreign will not feature cross-platform capabilities, meaning players will be confined to their respective console ecosystems during the network test. Although it remains unconfirmed, it is unlikely that any progress or achievements obtained during the test will transfer to the final game release.
Another limitation to consider is the game’s party structure. Participants can only play solo or in groups of three, as FromSoftware has opted not to support duos. Details regarding any further gameplay constraints during the network test have yet to be specified.
