Players may soon have more chances to experience the much-anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign, particularly following recent server disruptions that hindered many from participating in the inaugural testing phase. These issues have prompted discussions regarding the addition of further testing sessions, which could greatly enhance player engagement and feedback.

FromSoftware’s Response to Server Challenges

Following the initial testing session, FromSoftware took to X to issue an apology to players affected by the server outages. They confirmed that they are contemplating the possibility of conducting extra tests to improve the overall experience. Unfortunately, like many others on PlayStation 5, I encountered significant access issues. Initially, I could not enter the network test due to the server being temporarily taken offline for repairs, and once it came back online, I was unable to join any games. My only opportunity to explore the game was a brief visit to the Roundtable Hold and a new training area before the connection failed again.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to players due to the failure of the ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN game server. Today’s network test will end at 11pm as scheduled and we will proceed with improvement work. We are considering holding additional tests for today. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
