My role as Ironeye allowed me to provide long-range support, inflicting damage while reviving teammates when necessary. Utilizing Bleed and Frostbite effects proved advantageous throughout the fight.
Another effective team setup includes Wylder, Guardian, and Recluse. Recluse excels at casting incantations, especially potent lightning spells, while Wylder serves as a formidable damage dealer, supported by Guardian’s protective shield.

Despite these changes, it’s important to note that this version maintains its weakness to lightning damage. Equip yourself with lightning-infused weapons and spells for maximum impact. If you’re struggling to find lightning weapons, consider applying Relics to your starting build for an added edge.
Strategies for Defeating Everdark Sovereign Darkdrift Knight
To start your battle against the Everdark Sovereign variant, navigate to the expedition menu at Roundtable Hold.**Select the bottom purple bar** labeled ‘Darkdrift Knight’ to initiate the confrontation.
As with any standard expedition, you must complete two earlier encounters against Night Bosses before facing the Darkdrift Knight on the third day. During this preparation period, prioritize leveling up your character; reaching at least level 13 is highly recommended. Search for lightning weapons in areas highlighted with small lightning symbols on the map, especially if a team member plays as Ironeye. These weapons will prove invaluable and can be further enhanced with status effects like poison, scarlet rot, bleed, and frostbite.

Having a Guardian or Raider in your lineup is beneficial during this challenging phase, as they can absorb considerable damage. Characters with less durability should remain at a safe distance, attacking from the sidelines to maximize their impact safely.
Beware of overextending; frequent attacks may drain your stamina, leaving you vulnerable. Prioritize dodging and execute attacks in bursts—hit the boss a few times and then retreat. This method allows you to interpret the boss’s attack patterns more effectively. Continue this cycle until the Everdark Sovereign Darkdrift Knight is defeated.
Rewards for Defeating Everdark Sovereign Darkdrift Knight
Triumphing over the Everdark Sovereign Darkdrift Knight will yield a selection of Relics, which is standard for encounters with a Nightlord in Elden Ring Nightreign. Upon your first defeat of this boss, you will also earn 25 Sovereign Sigils. Subsequent victories over the boss will continue to reward you, although the amount of Sovereign Sigils will diminish to approximately 5.
