Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO is set to launch worldwide on October 10, 2024, marking a pivotal moment for the franchise as it serves as a “ground zero” for new and veteran fans alike. This title is crafted to ensure that all enthusiasts of the Dragon Ball series, regardless of their familiarity with it, can enjoy the gameplay experience.

Players can access Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO starting on October 7, 2024, exclusively for those who pre-order the Deluxe and Ultimate editions. The game will launch on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, in three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate, with further details available here.

To take part in early access, players must pre-order the game, which will include a host of iconic characters from the vast Budokai Tenkaichi series. The Deluxe and Ultimate editions will also offer additional benefits, including a season pass and a variety of other content.

Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO is poised to be the fourth installment in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, following the last game, 2007’s Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which was exclusively available on the PS2 and Wii. This new title boasts a roster of over 180 fighters from across Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, and various movies within the franchise.

Additionally, this release represents the first time that “Sparking!” will be included in the international title, as it has only been used in Japan until now. Players can enjoy single-player and multiplayer modes, enabling them to re-enact their favorite battles from the series whenever they wish.
