J.K.Simmons returns as Jim Gordon

In January, filming begins for the new DC film, Batgirl. The cast included, among others, J.K. Simmons, who will play Commissioner Gordon again.

J.K.Simmons is another actor who has played memorable roles in the Marvel and DC universes. In the near future, he will reappear as John John Jameson in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In the longer term, he will return to Washington as Commissioner Jim Gordon. He played this role in 2017 in the Justice League.

The actor did not hide his excitement about the upcoming role, especially since it should be slightly larger than in the Zack Snyder film:

“I was absolutely stunned that they came up to me and wanted me to play Commissioner Gordon again. This time it is a more important role. I think the script presents Batgirl and Jim Gordon in an interesting way, who I can portray better than before. “
