Final Beta Test for Dungeon Stalkers Now Live
The highly anticipated third-person PvPvE dungeon crawler RPG, Dungeon Stalkers, has entered its final beta testing phase before its official launch on Steam. Fans eager to participate can easily join the playtest by requesting access through the game’s store page.
What’s New in This Beta Phase?
This crucial beta test will conclude on Tuesday, July 1st, at 6:59 PM Pacific Time. Notable enhancements introduced since the previous testing phases include:
- Introduction of new stalkers, Liyan and Shinobu, bringing the total to nine.
- Implementation of a light extraction rule, ensuring no item loss upon death for quick matches and in PvE mode.
- A revamped rune system that facilitates stalker growth.
- New Camp system for item crafting and upgrades.
- Enhanced ultimate abilities for stalkers.
- Running feature added for an improved gaming experience.
- Incorporation of a kill camera and reporting system.
Game Overview
In Dungeon Stalkers, players select from a diverse roster of nine unique characters, each equipped with distinct stories, personalities, and abilities. They delve into the Witch’s cursed dungeon either solo or with friends in teams of up to three. As they venture deeper, players must gather loot, combat corrupted monsters, and fend off rival Stalkers, all while aiming to escape alive. The innovative Witch’s Curse system ensures that no two runs are identical, dynamically altering dungeon conditions and challenges each time.
Damage sustained by characters is visually depicted through armor degradation, which can be noticed by enemy players. This feature adds an extra layer of tension and strategy, influencing player interactions during PvP engagements. Players can choose between two experiences: a relaxed PvE mode focused on fun or a rigorous, competitive PvPvE dungeon encounter.
