In June 2025, Newzoo, a prominent global data analytics firm, unveiled its comprehensive report detailing the top ten games by monthly active users (MAU) and revenue. Following a stellar performance in May where Elden Ring Nightreign led the charts, it is now the time for Dune: Awakening to shine, as it enters the top five in revenue rankings. Additionally, Sloclap’s arcade football title Rematch has successfully secured a spot in the top ten.
For the latest rankings, Elden Ring Nightreign has seen a minor slip, moving a few places down the list. This shift occurs as Dune: Awakening replaces it at number five among the top games by revenue. Meanwhile, Rematch claims the ninth spot, while other games in the top ten remained relatively stable. Notably, Valorant has made a remarkable leap, jumping six positions to take seventh place.
Expanding our focus to the top twenty, noteworthy highlights include Deltarune by Toby Fox, which has quietly entered at the number twenty position. The highly anticipated Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, released late June, quickly climbed to 15th by revenue.
Dead By Daylight also stood out in the top twenty. This game successfully retained a position among the top twenty in both revenue and MAUs for June 2025, climbing 17 places in revenue and 13 in MAUs, thanks to a new collaboration with the popular franchise Five Nights at Freddy’s.
The monthly active users (MAU) rankings for June 2025 displayed less volatility compared to the revenue rankings, with few changes in the top ten. Notably, only Elden Ring Nightreign, Rematch, and Splitgate 2 managed to break into the top twenty in MAUs, making impressive gains from May’s figures.
