“Dumbest s**t”: Ice Cube’s son condemns Lakers fans hating on LeBron James after another masterclass
O’Shea Jackson Jr., the son of rapper Ice Cube, criticized LA Lakers fans who continue to harbor animosity towards superstar LeBron James. This came after another impressive performance from James in their away win against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
In the game against the Wizards, “The King”recorded impressive statistics of 25 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, and three steals in just 36 minutes of playing time. This strong performance contributed to the Purple and Gold’s 125-120 victory, marking their third consecutive win and boosting their overall record to 44-33 as they continue to push for a spot in the playoffs.
Despite the numerical statistics, LeBron James made crucial contributions in the latter stages of the game to secure the win without any mishaps.
After observing yet another impressive performance from the 20-time NBA All-Star, Jackson, who portrayed Ice Cube in the 2015 biopic Straight Outta Compton, utilized X, formerly known as Twitter, to express frustration towards Lakers fans who continue to criticize James despite his undeniable efforts.
According to him:
“Laker fans who hate on Bron. Please just stop. It’s the dumbest s**t.”
The victory against the Wizards was crucial for the Lakers as it enabled them to widen the gap between themselves and the Golden State Warriors (41-34) in the Western Conference standings. With a record of 44-33, LA now holds a two-game lead over the Warriors in 10th place.
The Lakers are also only one game behind the Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns, who both hold seventh place with matching 44-31 records.
