DreadOut Endless Hallway Puzzle Guide and Solutions

In the horror game DreadOut, players encounter a spectral entity named Demit Lorong, who relentlessly pursues the protagonist, Linda. However, catching Linda just once is enough for the ghost to cease its pursuit. Moreover, should players succumb to capture, they will unlock a unique entry in the Ghostpedia. Thus, for enthusiasts of survival horror, it might be strategically advantageous to let Demit Lorong catch them before hastily attempting to escape the daunting endless hallway.

DreadOut: Tips for Escaping the Endless Hallway

Locating the Invisible Door

The essential tool for navigating out of the endless hallway is Linda’s phone. This device can unveil hidden objects and entities when utilized as a camera. Specifically, players can discover an invisible door that leads to escape. The process of locating this door entails the following steps:

  1. Activate the camera and inspect both the left and right walls of the hallway.
  2. Detect three closely positioned doors; the middle door in this trio is the invisible door.
  3. If no trio of doors is visible, continue scanning with the camera while progressing down the hallway until it is located.

When players are evading Demit Lorong, they will find the set of three doors along the left side. However, as navigating the hallways can be disorienting—especially if the ghost’s pursuit has halted—it is recommended for players to examine both walls meticulously for the elusive door.

Unlocking the Invisible Door

After successfully finding the invisible door with Linda’s phone, players should stow away the camera and approach the wall section where the door was identified. To exit the endless hallway, simply press the interact button to open the door.

It is important to note that the interact prompt typically visible at the bottom of the screen when Linda is near a point of interest does not activate for the invisible door. Additionally, the visual cue—blue vignette—that usually signifies nearby interactive objects is absent in this section of the hallway. This absence makes it particularly challenging to find the invisible door, necessitating the use of the camera to solve this intriguing puzzle in DreadOut.
