At the beginning of your journey in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you are limited to selecting only four out of the ten available Vocations. However, it won’t be long before you can unlock two more Vocations that offer an incredibly enjoyable gameplay experience: the Warrior and the Sorcerer.
Unlocking the Warrior and Sorcerer Vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2
To gain access to the Warrior and Sorcerer Vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you must first advance through the main storyline, successfully complete the In Dragon’s Wake quest, and arrive at the city of Vernworth. Once you have reached the capital, make your way to the Vocation Guild, situated south of the Merchant Quarter.
At the Vocation Guild, approach the man behind the counter to acquire or alter your skills. In the Vocation change menu, you will see the options for Warrior and Sorcerer Vocations, but they are currently disabled. Upon exiting the menu, you will receive a notification that these Vocations are not accessible to those without the required gear, as a group of goblins has raided the armorer’s stockpile.
Upon discovering the situation, make your way back to the Merchant Quarter and seek out the armorer. They will task you with retrieving the stolen goods, which can be found in the Trevo Mine to the West of Vernworth. Be prepared for battle, as you will encounter several groups of goblins within the mine. Your objective is to locate and retrieve two weapons from separate treasure chests.
Once the weapons have been retrieved, return to Vernworth and have a conversation with the man at the Vocation Guild. This will unlock the two Vocations, but in order to permanently access them, you must use Discipline Points. Once unlocked, you will have the ability to switch between them without any further point expenditure.
