Unlocking the Mystic Spearhand Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2

To gain access to the Mystic Spearhand, players must speak to a particular NPC known as Sigurd, who also holds the title of Meister. There are two methods to unlock it. The first is by completing the Readvent of Calamity quest in Melve where you will encounter Sigurd. The second is by locating him near the Dragonsbreath Tower in Battahl. Inside the tower resides a smaller dragon that must be defeated in order to progress through the main story quest.

The location is situated southwest of Bakbattahl, the capital of Battahl. To access it, you must traverse through regions teeming with various foes, such as harpies. Therefore, it is essential to possess the ability to defeat flying enemies and have an ample supply of healing items.

Upon arriving at Dragonbreath Tower, you will find Sigurd resting at a campfire. After he informs you of the dragon’s presence in the tower, speak with him to unlock the Mystic Spearhand vocation. In order to obtain the Paladin’s Enigmata tome and learn the ultimate skill of the vocation, you must defeat the drake. This happens to be the same dragon that attacked the village of Melve.
