Overview

In Episode 15 of Dragon Ball DAIMA, the stakes are raised as Goku and his companions enter the tumultuous First Demon World. Immediately upon their arrival, they are met with aggression from Supreme Demon King Gomah’s army, marking a perilous beginning. With the proximity of the three Demon Realm Dragon Balls, the potential for a significant shift in power dynamics intensifies. This episode sets the stage for a high-stakes confrontation among Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo as they navigate challenges presented by the Gendarmerie Force, Majin Kuu, and Majin Duu.

After Goku’s reduction in size upon reaching the Third Demon World, the heroes quickly pivot their focus to acquiring all three Demon Realm Dragon Balls. Armed with skepticism regarding their ability to triumph over the formidable Tamagami sentinels guarding the Dragon Balls, Goku surprises everyone by effortlessly overcoming Tamagami Number Three. Vegeta contributes by neutralizing another near the Second Demon World, yet upon their entry into the First Demon World, they soon realize their intel is outdated. Dr. Arinsu has already claimed the One-Star Demon Realm Dragon Ball for herself, and Glorio is prepared to seize the remaining Dragon Balls at the opportune moment.

As the turmoil escalates, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Glorio find themselves attacked relentlessly by the Gendarmerie’s forces, forcing them onto the defensive. Unlike previous adversaries, these troops wield advanced technology capable of inflicting damage on the Saiyan trio. Goku is momentarily incapacitated when hit by a laser gun, echoing early conflicts from the original Dragon Ball series where most weaponry was ineffective against him. Despite this, he musters enough strength to counterattack using his Power Pole.

Frustration mounts for Vegeta, who, while attempting to retaliate, finds himself overwhelmed and temporarily incapacitated, compelling him to accept a Revive Bug from Goku as they seek refuge. Meanwhile, Supreme Demon King Gomah watches over the unfolding chaos, with his gaze fixating on Hybis, who possesses the elusive Third Eye—an artifact previously lamented by Gomah as a missed opportunity for securing power.

The Third Eye, otherwise referred to as the Tertian Oculus, holds a rich history, worn once by past Demon Kings to enhance their magical capabilities. The narrative delves deep into history, explaining how Dabura originally attempted to steal the Third Eye from Abura, succeeding briefly before ultimately succumbing to an attack that led to its loss.

By chance, it later came to Hybis, who unwittingly adopted it as part of his attire, ignorant of its true significance. This misappropriation echoes through time, as Dabura’s subsequent downfall after the loss of the Third Eye left a power vacuum filled by Gomah. The current narrative reveals Gomah’s plans to retrieve the artifact from Hybis through the stealthy approach of Degesu.

Climactic Confrontation

As tensions rise, a mysterious woman approaches Hybis in an attempt to persuade him to part with the Third Eye, beginning with a barter involving a kiss which he dismisses. Humorous exchanges lead to Hybis agreeing to trade the Third Eye for her large yellow hat, highlighting the absurdity amidst the chaos. Team Goku’s prospects seem to plunge further as they face electrified laser bombs fired from tanks, rendering them nearly immobilized and prompting a moment of despair.

Just as all seems lost, a dramatic turn occurs with the arrival of King Kadan, who intervenes by launching a barrage of bombs from the sky. Despite a final assault that takes down their aircraft, King Kadan and his forces safely descend, turning the tide back in favor of Earth’s heroes. Empowered by backup and the Super Saiyan transformation, Goku unleashes devastating attacks that decimate Gomah’s main forces, leaving only the Gendarmerie Force and the elusive Third Eye in Gomah’s clutches.

With the unexpected twists brought forth by a double agent in Glorio and the unpredictable Neva, the narrative hints at further adventures and surprises as Dragon Ball DAIMA continues. The world eagerly anticipates what challenges lie ahead for Goku and his companions.
