Dragon Age The Veilguard: Complete Quest Walkthrough for Echoes of The Past

In the expansive world of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, developed by Electronic Arts and BioWare, players are greeted with a plethora of quests designed to immerse them in rich storytelling and challenging puzzles. One of the initial quests you will encounter is Echoes of The Past, where you journey alongside your companion, Bellara. This quest emphasizes problem-solving as you navigate various puzzles to progress further in the game.

Walkthrough: Echoes of The Past in Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Unlike many quests in the game that involve combat, Echoes of The Past focuses on exploration and puzzle-solving. Begin your adventure in the Arlathan Forest, where you can either travel there normally or utilize fast travel if that location has been previously unlocked.

During this quest, your primary task is to locate and replace three pairs of power crystals. Additionally, players will have opportunities to engage in romantic dialogue with Bellara, adding a personal touch to the adventure.

First Pair of Power Crystals

Upon entering the Artifact Vault, Bellara will prompt you to search for two power crystals. The first crystal can be found directly behind her on the left side of the vault. Retrieve this crystal and bring it to her. For the second crystal, shift your attention to the right-hand side of Bellara; you’ll find the crystal tucked away in the corner.

Second Pair of Power Crystals

After successfully placing the first pair of power crystals with Bellara’s assistance, follow her outside. Here, you will notice several boxes on the left. Break open these boxes to uncover another power crystal. Next, ascend the ladder situated behind Bellara to secure the second crystal from this pair.

Final Pair of Power Crystals

Continue to follow Bellara to discover the location of the third pair of crystals. You will find a wooden beam positioned on an elevated platform. Pull this beam down to create a bridge that allows you to cross to the other side. Once there, climb the ladder to find another power crystal. Insert this crystal into the nearby power crystal socket to construct a bridge. Cross over the newly formed bridge to retrieve the final crystal.

Once you have obtained this last crystal, return it to Bellara and then head back to the crystal socket. Exchange the crystal with her, and finally, speak with Bellara outside the vault to complete the Echoes of The Past quest.
