Dragon Age: The Veilguard – Complete Guide to Solving the Lighthouse Statue Puzzle

Upon finishing the prologue of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, players will encounter an intriguing challenge known as the Lighthouse puzzle. This puzzle features three statues that need to be manipulated in order to unlock a door leading to a mysterious room, pivotal for advancing the game’s narrative.

New players may find the game somewhat daunting. To enhance your experience, it’s advisable to select an appropriate difficulty setting. Below is a comprehensive guide to solving the Lighthouse Statue puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

How to Solve the Lighthouse Statue Puzzle

Right after completing the prologue, you’ll wake up in the Veil headquarters. As you navigate down the stairs, you’ll notice a locked door that can only be opened by solving the Lighthouse Statue puzzle. In the main hall, a plaque on the door provides a cryptic hint: “Three meetings, face-to-face, under the sky.”

The phrase “three meetings, face-to-face”indicates that players must locate and align three pairs of statues so they face one another. The subsequent phrase “under the sky”suggests these statues are located in exposed areas.

To start, proceed to the courtyard through the main entrance of the Lighthouse. The first pair of statues is situated above you. To access them, navigate to the left and ascend the stairs. Here, you will find two statues along with a chest. Interact with them and rotate both statues twice to ensure they are facing each other.

Continuing along the same path leads to the second pair of statues. One statue will be easily visible, while the other will be across the courtyard. Turn the first statue to the right once and then rotate the second statue twice so they, too, face each other.

For the final pair, look beneath the structure typically occupied by private investigator Neve Gallus. As you descend the platforms through the archway, you will locate the first of this pair. Rotate it clockwise once. The second statue is positioned behind a building adjacent to Neve’s study. Rotate this statue twice to align it with the one you just positioned near the archway.

Having successfully solved the Lighthouse statue puzzle, return to the main room of the Lighthouse. Interact with the circular mechanism where the door plaque was previously located. If your alignment of the statues was accurate, this will unlock and grant you entry to the mysterious chamber. Inside, you will discover several chests filled with gold, crystals, and a valuable codex entry.
