  • Corrected the issue of failing to power on a virtual machine with the 3D graphics setting enabled, leading to the same unrecoverable error
  • Overcame hurdles in installing or upgrading VMware Workstation 17.6 on non-English systems
  • Fixed MSI pop-up errors during installation or upgrade on a host system that uses a locale different from English
  • CentOS 9 Stream is no longer supported as a host on Workstation Player 17.6 for kernel versions exceeding 5.14.0-432
  • CentOS 9 Stream with kernel versions greater than 5.14.0-432 is unsupported on Workstation Player 17.6.

Identified Issues

  • In certain circumstances, depending on diverse hardware configurations, the multi-monitor feature may not operate correctly. Users might experience issues like reverting to a single-screen setup or failing to switch between monitors. Workaround: None currently available.
