QOwnNotes is an open-source (GPL) plaintext file notepad featuring markdown support and a to-do list manager for GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows. This versatile application optionally integrates with the notes application of ownCloud or Nextcloud, allowing users to document their thoughts in QOwnNotes and later edit or search for them on mobile devices, similar to CloudNotes, or through the ownCloud web service. Notes are saved as plain text files that can be synchronized with your ownCloud sync client, but other cloud solutions, including Dropbox, Syncthing, Seafile, or BitTorrent Sync, are also compatible.
