Significant Updates for Enhanced User Experience
A notable enhancement in NTLite is its capability to modify operating systems that are already installed. Users can now remove superfluous components post-installation, enhancing system speed and efficiency. NTLite supports a range of Windows versions, including Windows 11, 10, 8.1, and 7, across both x86 and x64 architectures. While it accommodates server editions of these systems, it does not support component removals or feature configurations in those versions. It’s important to note that ARM64 image support is currently in the alpha stage, and options for Checked/Debug, Embedded, IoT editions, as well as Windows Vista and XP, are not available.

Upgrades
- Enhanced compatibility and wizard for Host Refresh in images.
- Reduced errors associated with ‘replicate’ and ‘migrate’ in certain host-image combinations.
- The inclusion of file count check in the Extracted Updates Cache ensures older cache recreation.
- Compatibility now considers Network Profile for connection detection.
- Forced custom update cleanup when removal of the WinSxS store is detected.
- Compatibility for Host Refresh has been separated from Manual Setup for better clarity.
- The merging of ‘WinRE.wim’ and ‘WinRE’ on pre-24H2 images to address size discrepancies in older presets.
- UI translations have been improved with contributions from users for French and Spanish languages.
Fixes
- Resolved an issue with WinRE.wim saving where it incorrectly pulled install.wim when both were mounted.
