Apple has recently rolled out a new beta version of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, among other updates, inviting developers to engage in another round of testing. These latest beta builds come just a week after the fifth beta release and include numerous bug fixes and enhancements aimed at improving overall stability. Developers are encouraged to install these updates on their compatible devices promptly.

Apple Releases Beta 6 of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe 26: Enhanced Stability and Usability for Developers

The beta 6 versions of iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 can be easily downloaded on compatible iPhone and iPad models through the Settings app. To initiate the process, navigate to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and adhere to the provided instructions for installation. Both devices follow this same procedure, simplifying the update process. Ensure that your Apple ID is linked to your Developer Account to access the update over the air; otherwise, it won’t be visible in the Settings menu.

In addition to updates for iOS and iPadOS, Apple has also provided beta 6 for macOS Tahoe 26, which can be installed on compatible Macs through the Software Update option located in System Settings. Remember to confirm that your Apple ID is associated with your Developer Account to receive the OTA updates seamlessly on your Mac.
