Apple has recently launched the seventh beta version of its forthcoming iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe 26 updates for developers to test and debug. If you are a registered developer, you can download and install these latest updates directly on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac using the Settings app. This release follows just a week after the sixth beta version was made available, demonstrating a consistent weekly update rhythm from Apple.
Installation of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe 26 Beta 7 for Developers Now Available
Registered developers can easily download and install the latest iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 beta 7 on compatible iPhone and iPad models. For those unfamiliar with the process, simply open the Settings app on your device and navigate to General > Software Update > Beta Updates, then follow the prompts to download the latest build. This procedure is identical for both iPhones and iPads, making it straightforward for developers. However, ensure that your Apple ID is associated with your Developer Account, as only linked accounts will receive Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.
In addition to the iOS and iPadOS updates, Apple has also released the seventh beta version of macOS Tahoe 26 for developers. This release is significant as it represents one of the final stages before Apple rolls out the public release next month. To install macOS Tahoe 26 beta 7, access the Software Update section in System Settings and follow the instructions provided. Just like the other updates, a linked Apple ID with a Developer Account is necessary to obtain the OTA update on your Mac.
With these updates significantly advanced in their development cycle, they demonstrate much greater stability compared to their earlier iterations released after the WWDC 2025 event. Nonetheless, it is advisable for users to exercise caution and consider waiting until the official release next year before installing the beta versions. Stay tuned for more insights regarding the new features included in these latest builds.
