Beta Release for iOS 18.5, macOS 15.5, and visionOS 2.5
The first beta of iOS 18.5 is now available for developers, accessible through the Settings app on iPhones. To install this beta, ensure that your Apple ID is registered with a Developer Account, granting you the eligibility to receive over-the-air updates. After confirming this, navigate to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates to initiate the installation. Notably, the iPadOS 18.5 beta 1 mirrors this process for compatible iPads.
In addition to the updates for iPhones and iPads, Apple has also released the macOS Sequoia 15.5 beta for developers. Similar to iOS, this beta can be downloaded through the Software Update feature in System Settings. Ensure your Developer Account is linked to your Apple ID for a seamless installation experience.
Furthermore, visionOS 2.5 beta 1 is now available for developers, installable via the Settings app on the Vision Pro headset. The same requirements for linking your Developer Account to your Apple ID apply here. Additional updates include watchOS 11.5 and tvOS 18.5 beta 1, also released for developer access.
