Numerous individuals believed that the K-pop idols likely lacked awareness of the political implications associated with the phrase and criticized fans for pressuring idols into such statements. They noted that this could have negative repercussions on their careers and reputation, particularly among French audiences.

Essential Information on ARTMS’s Choerry and Her Career

ARTMS is a K-pop girl group established by the South Korean label, MODHAUS. They made their debut this year on May 31 with the single “Virtual Angel”from their inaugural album titled “DALL.”The group is particularly notable for its lineup, which includes Heejin, Haseul, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry, all of whom previously performed as members of LOONA.

LOONA, another popular K-pop girl group started by Blockberry Creative in 2016, originally featured a total of eleven members. Although LOONA gained fame within the K-pop community, they faced disbandment due to internal conflicts between the agency and the members. Following this, the individual members have pursued various paths within the music scene.

Choerry, also known as Choi Ye-rim, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and dancer who first gained public attention during Blockberry Creative’s pre-debut show for LOONA in 2016. She was the eighth member unveiled and debuted her first single, “Love Cherry Motion,”in 2017.

Additionally, Choerry participated in LOONA’s subunit ODD EYE CIRCLE, contributing to the EP “Mix & Match”alongside her fellow members. In November 2022, however, she was removed from the group and the agency due to her legal efforts to terminate her contract with Blockberry Creative. The agency cited issues with her fellow member Chuu as a reason for Choerry’s dismissal.
