Following the premiere of season 6 of Love is Blind earlier this month, a Middle Eastern adaptation titled Love is Blind Habibi made its debut on October 10. All 9 episodes were released simultaneously, allowing for an ideal binge-watching experience.
Among the couples featured were Simo and Hajar, who got engaged during their time in the pods and later enjoyed a luxurious getaway at a resort in Dubai. However, their relationship ultimately faltered, leading them to part ways during their vacation.
While still in the pods, Simo had given a bouquet to Yasmine, another one of his potential matches. In a twist, Hajar took a flower from Yasmine’s bouquet and presented it to Simo as a gift. This act did not go unnoticed, as many fans of Love is Blind Habibi took to X to voice their opinions on Hajar’s actions, with many finding the situation amusing.
“Did Simo just call Hajar stupid after she gifted him a rose from a bouquet that he bought and gave to another girl hehehe I don’t blame him..,”commented one viewer.
“I can’t believe Hajar stole a rose from Yasmine’s bouquet that Yasmine got as a birthday gift from Simo, and returned it to Simo after she sprayed her perfume on it hahahaha,”wrote another user.

While some fans found Hajar’s actions entertaining, others disapproved entirely.

Simo shared with a male co-star that he found the experience incredible as he developed feelings for the women without having seen their faces. He mentioned that Yasmine was his top choice, though he also felt a connection with Hajar, the Moroccan contestant.
In Love is Blind Habibi, Simo sent flowers to Yasmine, which she proudly brought to the ladies’ area after their date. His subsequent date was with Hajar, who offered him a red rose, declaring she wanted him to enjoy a pleasant scent. She candidly admitted to swiping the flower from another girl and dousing it in her perfume.
When questioned about the flower’s origin, Hajar claimed she acquired it from Yasmine’s “mysterious guy,”stating that Yasmine had not shared any details. Simo then revealed himself to be Yasmine’s “mysterious guy” and interpreted Hajar’s act of returning the flower as a significant sign. When pressed, Simo conveyed that receiving the flower back, accompanied by her fragrance, symbolized that he and Hajar were meant to be.
