Entering the event as the tenth seed, the Russian player began her journey by facing off against America’s Claire Liu. However, in the next round, she faced a surprising defeat at the hands of 19th seed Sorana Cirstea, losing in straight sets 7-5, 6-2.
Despite her recent defeat, Kasatkina remained in Miami for a few days and was seen at the Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, March 30.

As Zabiiako listened in the background, Kasatkina explained the concept of the “Sunshine Double.”
“Do you know how they call these two Masters, IW and Miami? Sunshine Double,”Kasatkina was quoted as saying to Zabiiabko.
She playfully referred to her connection with Zabiiabko as a “Sunshine Double”as well.
“Do you know what else is a Sunshine Double? Me and you,”Kasatkina quipped.
The video quickly went viral on social media, causing Kasatkina to react with three shy monkey emojis in a sheepish manner.
Despite often being featured on each other’s social media accounts, Kasatkina and Zabiiako are also co-creators of the popular YouTube vlog “What The Vlog,”which was originally named Zabiiako & Kasatkina. Their close relationship is evident both online and offline.
The vlog captures their experiences on tour, showcasing the highs and lows for their fans. Additionally, they have a joint Instagram account where they frequently engage with fans by answering their questions.
