However, before you can add this iconic companion to your adventures, you need to unlock Jasmine and Aladdin to fully enjoy what Dreamlight Valley has to offer.
This quest adds rich layers of excitement as it ties closely to the beloved Aladdin film. Players will engage in a quest to uncover the echoes of Aladdin’s three wishes, essential for filling the Golden Lamp with wish essences, ultimately dispelling the sandstorms to safeguard Agrabah.
How To Trigger The Wish Magic Quest In DDV
You can initiate the Wish Magic quest right after crafting the Gold Lamp during the Breaking Through quest. Once you have deciphered the Ancient Tome and created the lamp, Jasmine will mention the need to gather wish magic. Essentially, every wish made by the Genie leaves behind an ‘echo’ or trace. Talk to Aladdin for further insights, then set off to various locations to harvest the wish magic.
Remnant Of The First Wish Location In DDV
To locate the remnant of Aladdin’s first wish, venture outside the walls of Agrabah to the quicksand pond. Cast your fishing line repeatedly until the remnant surfaces. While fishing here, you’ll also gather Quicksand Mud, which will be useful later in your quest.
How To Solve The Fountain Puzzle In DDV
Upon discussing the second wish with Jasmine, you will discover it involves water—a nod to Aladdin’s experience of being saved from drowning. Jasmine will guide you to a malfunctioning fountain that she is trying to repair. To activate the fountain and retrieve the remnant of the second wish, gather the following materials:
- Gold Share x40: Obtained by breaking rock obstacles in Agrabah.
- Quicksand Mud x3: Collected from the quicksand pond outside Agrabah.
After crafting the Fountain Pipes, position them accordingly to restore functionality to the fountain. Complete the puzzle by rotating tiles to facilitate water flow into the fountain. Once it’s operational, you will receive both the remnant of the second wish and a blue key.
Genie’s Sparkles Location In DDV
For the culmination of Aladdin’s journey, his final wish was for the Genie to gain freedom, which took place on a balcony with a magnificent view of the palace. To collect Genie’s Sparkles, simply return to the balcony where your first encounter with Aladdin occurred and gather the distinctive black and white sparkles.
Following this collection, head to the Alchemy Table to combine all remnants and create the Lamp Enchantment. Once Jasmine fuses this enchantment with the Gold Lamp, players gain the ability to wield it, allowing them to absorb the intense sandstorm as well as the smaller ones in the marketplaces. However, keep in mind that the Magic Carpet will still be unavailable as a companion just yet.
