The Latest on Yakuza Nendoroids from WonFes 2025 Winter
Good Smile Company has recently showcased exciting new updates on the Yakuza Nendoroids during the WonFes 2025 Winter event. Prototypes for three popular figures from the Like a Dragon series—Goro Majima, Ichiban Kasuga, and Kazuma Kiryu—were unveiled, with two of them showing significant progress in development. The painted prototypes suggest that pre-orders for at least one, if not both of the advanced figures, could be launched in the coming weeks.
Origins of the Figures
The announcement of these figures first occurred at WonFes 2023 Shanghai, where Good Smile Company revealed initial concepts for the Nendoroids of Kasuga, Kiryu, and Majima. Further details emerged at WonHobby 38, showing that all three figures were initially at the same developmental stage, represented by chibi-style renderings. Currently, both Kasuga and Kiryu have been transformed into painted prototypes, while Majima still awaits this stage of development, appearing only in an unpainted format.
Character Details
Each character is depicted in their most iconic outfits, allowing fans to appreciate their unique styles:
- Kazuma Kiryu: He is dressed in a grey suit complemented by a crimson shirt. The prototype captures Kiryu’s stoic demeanor, though it lacks accessories.
- Ichiban Kasuga: Kasuga sports a vibrant red suit paired with a grey shirt. His hair remains untied, and he wears a cheerful expression, hinting at his playful nature, while a baseball bat rests over his shoulder.
- Goro Majima: Majima is presented with his suit jacket open and shirtless, embodying his wild personality. His expression reflects a manic joy, and although unpainted, the distinct design of his eye patch is expected to be faithfully recreated.
