In this article, we will provide a comprehensive step-by-step guide to uncover Nikolai’s secret easter egg quest within the Astra Malorum map. This quest will not only enhance your understanding of Nikolai’s backstory but also reward you with a Legendary Rarity weapon and a new addition to your Calling Card collection.

Unlocking Nikolai’s Side Easter Egg in Astra Malorum (BO7 Zombies)

To initiate this quest, ensure you are playing as Nikolai on the Astra Malorum map. Your first step is to gather three Molotov cocktails—these can be purchased for 350 Salvage from any Crafting Table.

Once you have your Molotovs ready, navigate to the Abyssal Rim area, where you will encounter Wisp Tea. From this location, you must throw Molotovs at three distinct spots. Start by throwing a Molotov at a dirt patch while facing west, near the Ammo Box and the lamp post. If executed correctly, fire footprints will become visible.

Follow the fire footprints to their stopping point, then throw another Molotov at the stairs where they cease. Continue to throw one more Molotov at the last location indicated by the footprints, which should guide you toward the entrance of a cave.

Upon reaching the cave, interact with the wooden carving of a goat located to the left of the cave entrance. This action will trigger a mini-cutscene, transporting you inside the cave. Progress forward until you hit a dead end, then backtrack until you find another dead end. At this point, proceed to interact with the altar.

This interaction will activate a mini-lockdown scenario where you need to dodge the damaging red apparition while eliminating the spawning Ravagers. After a brief period, a cutscene will unfold, displaying the Ravagers capturing you while Toor Bala speaks to Nikolai. Once the cutscene concludes, you will be transported out of the cave with your hard-earned rewards.
