This week’s Music Radar showcases highly anticipated projects set to be released on September 27 across the hip-hop, R&B, and pop genres. Just last week, Future unveiled his first solo project of the year, titled Mixtape Pluto, available on all streaming platforms since September 20, 2024, under an exclusive license to Epic Records and Sony Music Entertainment.

Other notable releases from last week included Lil Tecca’s fourth studio album PLAN A, The Alchemist’s new LP The Genuine Articulate, and Katy Perry’s seventh studio album 143, with several pop, trap, and hip-hop singles dropping during the same period.

Looking ahead, WMR’s list for Friday features a fresh collaboration between The Weeknd and Playboi Carti titled TIMLESS, part of Abel’s promotional rollout for his upcoming sixth studio album Hurry Up Tomorrow.

1) TIMLESS (The Weeknd x Playboi Carti) – Single Release

As the launch of The Weeknd’s sixth studio album Hurry Up Tomorrow approaches, he has revealed a new single titled TIMLESS. This track marks his first official collaboration with rapper Playboi Carti and will drop on all streaming platforms via The Weeknd XO Music ULC. Abel’s TIMLESS comes after the album’s lead single Dancing In The Flames, which debuted on September 13.

Lil Yachty and Bia are set to release their new single P*SSED OFF, scheduled for midnight. Based on clips shared on Bia’s social media, the single will blend trap, hip-hop, and pop production to craft an engaging club banger.

4) Nice Doing Business With You (Consequence) – Album Release

The New York rapper Consequence is gearing up for the release of his first full-length LP in over a decade, titled Nice Doing Business With You, which follows his 2011 album Movies on Demand 2. The track, produced by Tyler, comes with an official music video featured on Maxo’s YouTube channel, amassing over 300,000 views since its debut.

As fans eagerly await Lady Gaga’s highly anticipated seventh studio album—featuring its first single set for release next month—the artist has announced a new LP titled Harlequin. This album will serve as the official soundtrack for the film Joker: Folie à Deux, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Gaga, which premieres on October 02, 2024. On September 24, Gaga revealed the cover art for her soundtrack album, along with a complete tracklist that includes 13 tracks:
