User-Centric Improvements

On the user side, significant advances have been made to Copilot Chat, thanks to its integration with ContextIQ. This intelligent layer enhances the system’s ability to scope prompts by incorporating data from both internal (SharePoint, OneDrive) and external sources, streamlining file searches directly within chat, and proactively suggesting relevant content as users type. In a complementary update, the Copilot mobile app offers voice interaction, allowing users to engage with AI in a conversational manner. Users will also benefit from advanced reasoning agents like Researcher and Analyst for more complex tasks while the Create experience enjoys enhancements, including the generation of stories and customized templates.

Edge customers can look forward to additional exciting features from Copilot, such as:

  • Outlook Enhancements: Users can now schedule meetings via Copilot chat, receive summaries of email attachments, experience a new sidebar in the classic Outlook app, prepare for meetings efficiently, and automate the creation of meeting invites.
