Earlier this year, Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary. The couple has been blessed with three children and seven grandchildren.

Shante Broadus Takes on Management Role in 2021

As noted in her IMDb biography, Shante Broadus (born Fuller) emerged into the world in California on October 30, 1975. She attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School, where she first crossed paths with Snoop Dogg. The pair even attended prom together before tying the knot in 1997.

Their family journey began when they welcomed their first son, Cordé, in 1994, followed by their second son, Cordell, in 1997, even before they exchanged vows. After their marriage, they welcomed a daughter, Cori, in 1999. Tragically, in 2002, Shante lost her brother, Jermaine Fuller, in a police shooting incident.

According to People Magazine, she founded Boss Lady Entertainment in 2003. This music management firm also took part in producing films and series, including her husband’s 2012 documentary. The company also oversaw the LA event space known as The Compound.

The year 2004 marked a challenging period for Snoop and Shante as he filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”Nevertheless, the couple reconciled, and during a 2007 interview with People Magazine, Snoop reflected positively on his family life, stating:

“I thought I was the man, and I was willing to give up what I had at home for that, until I realized that what I had at home was irreplaceable. I had kids with my wife because I wanted to be with my wife. And those three babies are all wanted, and I wanted to be with them,”stated the artist.

In addition to their personal ventures, Shante and Snoop launched a unisex scarf line called The Broadus Collection, inspired by the headscarf their daughter wore as she coped with hair loss due to Lupus.

Shante explained in an interview with W Magazine that the scarf collection was designed to be “positive and a reflection of her going through all that.”

“I would put a scarf on her so she wouldn’t feel like she was the only one wearing them. We all wore scarves with her to make her feel less alone,” she shared.

In 2021, Shante Broadus transitioned into the role of Snoop’s manager, taking charge of his business dealings, partnerships, and various assets. She also authored her memoir, “Paid the Cost to be the Boss Lady,”which explores her life and the challenges that come with fame.

In May 2024, Shante Broadus launched her first adult-only club in Los Angeles, named The Player’s Club, taking inspiration from the iconic 1998 film.

In other related news, Snoop Dogg announced the release date for his highly anticipated album with Dr. Dre, titled “Missionary,”which is set to drop on December 13 and is expected to be a follow-up to his groundbreaking debut album, “Doggystyle.”
