According to a report from TMZ Hip Hop released on Friday, October 18, 2024, the couple connected last year following a legal dispute with his former chef over wrongful termination. They have been an item for almost a year now.

LeahAngelie Murphy, who is based in Los Angeles, works as a private chef and social media influencer. She reportedly began her culinary journey with Lil Wayne in early 2023, after his previous head chef, Morghan Medlock, filed a lawsuit in December 2022. Their relationship blossomed shortly after their professional collaboration began.

Originating from Los Angeles, LeahAngelie Murphy is believed to reside with Lil Wayne. Her Instagram account (@leehah88) reveals that she pursued culinary studies in the late 2010s before establishing herself as a private chef.

In addition to her culinary work, Murphy has garnered over 23,000 followers on Instagram, where she blends lifestyle imagery with her food blog. She recently celebrated turning 36 in October.

Additionally, she operates the Instagram profile @moufwet, named after her culinary business, Mouf Wet. This playful name is derived from the words “mouth”and “wet,”with her bio humorously stating, “When food looks so good, it instantly makes your #Moufwet.”

The majority of her Instagram content focuses on her culinary creations, food presentation, and her adventures as a private chef. Beyond cooking, LeahAngelie is also involved in catering and organizing private dining experiences.

Details on Morgan Medlock’s Lawsuit

In December 2022, chef Morghan Medlock initiated legal action against Lil Wayne, claiming wrongful termination, retaliation, and various unlawful practices. Medlock alleges that she was dismissed earlier that same year after leaving a trip in Las Vegas due to a family emergency.

TMZ reported in December 2022, referencing court documents, that Medlock had traveled to Las Vegas with the rapper in May. During this trip, she was informed that her 10-year-old child had been hospitalized due to a severe head injury. She opted to take an alternate flight to return home but faced delays, allegedly due to Wayne’s behaviors.

She informed Wayne’s assistant about her urgent situation, hoping for understanding, but was ultimately terminated. The lawsuit was settled between the rapper and Medlock in March 2024.
