With the introduction of the Pale Garden and Bundles of Bravery game drops in Minecraft, here are some essential blocks and items that players should familiarize themselves with before these releases:

  • Pale Oak Wood – Harvestable from pale oak trees, logs can be collected by hand or with an axe. They serve as both a building and decorative material. Players can also strip pale oak logs or craft them into various wooden items such as planks, stairs, fences, and doors, similar to existing wood types in the game.
  • Pale Oak Leaves – Functioning like other leaf blocks, these leaves feature a unique pale hue that corresponds to the pale oak tree. They can be collected using a Silk Touch tool.
  • Hanging Moss – This pale moss hangs from the tops and sides of pale oak trees and can be harvested for decorative use, much like traditional vines.
  • Pale Moss Carpet – Similar to the moss carpets found in lush caves, these can also be harvested. When placed adjacent to other blocks, pale vine-like textures may appear to creep vertically up those blocks.
  • Creaking Hearts – A new block that harmonizes with pale oak trees, it emits an orange glow when activated. When positioned between two aligned pale oak blocks, creaking hearts become functional, capable of spawning the creaking—a new tree-like hostile mob. The creaking hearts control this mob and must be destroyed to eliminate it, but can be collected using a Silk Touch-enchanted tool for placement in new locations.
  • Bundles and Dyed Bundles – While these items have existed as Experimental Features since the Caves & Cliffs update, Mojang confirmed their introduction as a non-experimental feature within the Bundles of Bravery game drop. These bundles allow players to combine multiple items/blocks into a single inventory slot and can be dyed to match individual preferences.

As the Bundles of Bravery and the Pale Garden are rolled out in snapshots and previews in the coming days and weeks, players can look forward to additional updates and insights from Mojang regarding Minecraft’s new features.
