
Exciting Updates for Warframe and Soulframe Announced in Latest Devstream
Digital Extremes recently hosted a devstream revealing thrilling new content for Warframe, including the much-anticipated update titled Warframe: 1999 Techrot Encore. This update is set to launch in March across all gaming platforms. As players await this major release, a series of engaging events and content will be available throughout February to keep the community entertained. Key highlights include the introduction of Lavos Prime on February 12, fresh Nightwave rewards and challenges, and the return of Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast, which kicks off on February 6. Furthermore, those planning to attend TennoCon in person can look forward to ticket sales starting February 7.
Soulframe’s Future Revealed
In addition to Warframe updates, the devstream also provided exciting insights into Soulframe. While still in its Preludes (Pre-Alpha Test) phase, players can expect an expanded world map and a captivating story quest titled The Shewolf Snared. This quest involves rescuing the wolf companion, Orengall, and her pups, enriching the game’s narrative.
New Features and Characters in Soulframe
The development team has also announced new gameplay mechanics for Soulframe. Players will now be able to align with one of three Factions at the start of their journey, integrating a mini-quest system that enhances the experience. Additionally, new key characters known as the Ancestors, including Atajan and Pothia, are set to make their debut.
What to Expect in Warframe: 1999 Techrot Encore Update
Returning to Warframe: 1999, players can anticipate the introduction of new adversaries in the Lich system, featuring boss battles against the Technocyte Coda boy band. Players will encounter Infested replicas of the popular band On-lyne, with engaging music accompanying the fights. Defeating these bosses will reward players with one of thirteen new Infested weapons.
New Protoframes and Skins
The streets of Hollvania will soon see the arrival of four new Protoframes. Additional details regarding the upcoming Gemini skins and emotes will be shared in the near future, promising to enhance the customization options for players.
Enhanced Relationships and New Weapons
Players looking to deepen their experience in Warframe: 1999 will benefit from significant improvements to the in-game Romance & Relationship System, allowing for richer interactions with characters. Alongside this, four new Scaldra weapons will also be introduced, including a pistol, sickle, rifle, and grenade launcher, all designed with a nostalgic 90s theme that aims to evoke fond memories as players embark on their new missions and interact with their companions.
